Readability
We use two industry standards for calculating readability: ARI (Average Readability Index) and FRE (Flesch Reading Ease). You can set both to your desired minimum and maximum threshold.
Mandatory substantiation
You can set SeeDynamic to find specific words, and give specific guidance to the content creator about what to do when it’s found. For example, you can set it to locate “defacto”, and when SeeDynamic finds it, this guidance appears: “If you use the word ‘defacto’, you must provide evidence.”
Barred words
Set SeeDynamic to find words and phrases your firm has barred, such as “cheapest” or “single premium”.
Mandatory inclusions
Create content types (for example, products) and set SeeDynamic to flag up when warnings or other mandatory content is missing. These can also be contingent on text in the file. For example, if SeeDynamic finds the text “We will fix your car…”, it can flag up that you need the associated small print, “If economically viable”.
Content guidance
Content guidance is distinct from barred words. You can set SeeDynamic to find words or phrases that are higher risk, or should only be used in specific circumstances. For example, if SeeDynamic finds "peace of mind", you can set guidance that tells the content creator the specific circumstances under which they can use that phrase.
Restricted Words
Restricted words are similar to content guidance. These are content that is higher risk, or should only be used in specific circumstances. For example, if SeeDynamic finds "advisory" in product text, you can set guidance that the content creator can only use “advisory” if the product terms make that offer.
Out-of-date content
Set SeeDynamic to locate out-of-date content and provide the current content. Examples include changed telephone numbers or addresses, or updated terminology, such as “GHIC” replacing “EHIC”, “civil partnership” replacing “marriage”, or “personal pension” replacing “occupational pension”.
Spelling
You can use SeeDynamic to run a British English spell check. You can also add industry-specific or client-specific words and acronyms to the dictionary.
Regulated Footer
You can set what information should be in a footer, and SeeDynamic will flag when the footer is missing or doesn’t contain all the necessary information.
Common inaccuracies
You can set SeeDynamic to prompt you to check for your firm’s most common errors, such as opening hours, telephone numbers, or addresses
Product disclosures
SeeDynamic can flag up when you use a product name but have not included the product disclosures.
Fonts
You can set permitted fonts and maximum and minimum font sizes, and SeeDynamic will alert you if you break these settings.
Logos
SeeDynamic will alert you when it finds an incorrect logo (for example, for a specific region or product), or if it can’t find the correct logo.
